Blume [Lauraceae]) seeds removed from their fruits is the most efficient way to produce 1+0 seedlings suitable for conservation plantings. Although seeds are delicate, macerating fresh fruit appears to be an acceptable way to clean seeds and yields more seedlings than sowing air-dried fruits.
