We also found a single wildflower species and 1 grass species that were too aggressive for mixtures, and 4 wildflower species and 3 species of grass that were not aggressive enough. Mixtures of grasses and wildflowers can be aesthetically appealing, water-conserving, low-maintenance alternatives to conventional turfgrass.
