AB  - A selected germplasm of orange zexmenia (Wedelia texana (A. Gray) B.L. Turner [Asteraceae]) has been released for rangeland plantings and wildlife habitat enhancement plantings in the central and southern regions of Texas. Goliad Germplasm orange zexmenia is a blend of 7 selected accessions from an extensive evaluation at multiple sites in south Texas. Accessions constituting the release are increased from the original seed collections of native populations to maintain the genetic integrity of each accession. This germplasm represents the first commercially available release of orange zexmenia that has been tested and adapted to its intended area of use.
