Abstract
White River Germplasm Indian ricegrass (Achnatherum hymenoides (Roem. & Schult.) Barkworth [Poaceae]) has been released for use in rangeland seedings. This plant material traces from a seed morph collected in northwestern Colorado in Rio Blanco County, near the White River. White River Germplasm displays good germinability in a species characterized by high levels of seed dormancy. We anticipate this material will be used in the Upper Colorado Plateau of eastern Utah and western Colorado and the Basin Province of southern Wyoming.
